About Irish Life Investment Managers

Irish Life Investment Managers (ILIM) is the investment management subsidiary of Irish Life & Permanent plc.

ILIM provides a full range of investment products to clients. Assets under management are in excess of €20bn, with pension funds representing over 50% of this figure. In excess of €9bn is managed on an indexed basis. ILIM has approximately 120 people of which 20% make up a dedicated IT team split between project management, analysis, development and support.

Assignments

Strata Software has been engaged on an ongoing basis to provide consultancy and services in component-based development (CBD) processes and service-oriented architecture (SOA)

• Strategy advice, analysis and review with respect to CBD, SOA and industry direction
• Development Practice evolution customisation of standardised component-based development processes to ILIM development practices, technologies and tools
• Business Type Modelling and Service Definition project-specific business analysis and interface definition services for fund management systems
• CBD/SOA Training customised on-site training on CBD and SOA concepts and processes
• Blueprint customisation establishment of development artifact standards, tool profiles and modelling standard
